You wished upon a star. You set the intention. You imagined the dream life. Maybe you even made the vision board.
So… why isn’t it here yet?
If you’ve been learning how to manifest what you want, there is one important piece that often gets skipped: receiving. Manifestation isn’t only about sending a clear, sparkly intention out into the Universe. Once you ask, you also need to become the person who can actually receive what you’re asking for.
At the BPI, we teach that receiving is a whole-body and whole-energy experience. Your wish doesn’t just magically appear in your life. It moves through your energy system and become something you can know, see, communicate, believe, act on, feel, and physically support.
Basically, it takes all seven chakaroonies. (Actual psychic terminology, obviously.)
Sometimes people assume that if something hasn’t manifested, the Universe must have said no. But what if the answer already arrived and got stuck on the way in?
Imagine something you want more of, maybe security, belonging, love, creativity, or abundance. Once that intention comes back to you, the BPI teaches that it moves through your chakra system, starting at the seventh chakra and moving all the way down into the first.
When it reaches your first chakra, you have fully received it into your body and your life.
However, energy blocks can interrupt that process. A manifestation can get stuck because of old patterns such as a lack of self-worth, scarcity, fear of failure, fear of success, guilt, or the belief that you don’t actually deserve what you’re asking for.
Sometimes it also gets stuck because the wish itself isn’t actually aligned with your truth. Maybe it looks great from the outside. Everyone around you might even think it is exactly what you should want.
But somewhere inside, you usually know the difference between a wish that feels true to you and one you’re trying to force because it only looks good on paper.
Learning how to manifest what you want includes discovering what you truly desire, not just what sounds good.
Your chakras are not just cute rainbow circles on a meditation poster. They are part of your spiritual anatomy, and each one plays a role in bringing an idea out of the clouds and into your everyday life.
Let’s follow your wish as it moves through each chakra and see where it might get stuck along the way.

Your seventh chakra connects to your knowingness. This is the part of you that says: “I know this is possible for me.”
If your manifestation hits a roadblock here, you may not even believe the thing you want can happen. Maybe cynicism has taken over. After enough disappointment, believing in something new can start to feel risky.
The first step is to recognize that a new possibility can exist.
Your sixth chakra connects with clear seeing, imagination, and your ability to visualize. Can you actually picture the reality you are creating?
If you want more abundance, can you see a world where opportunities, support, and resources are available to you? If you want more belonging, can you imagine moving through life feeling secure and connected?
Sometimes people want something consciously, but energetically, they cannot yet picture that reality existing. They can’t quite see the world where their wish has already become possible.
Your vision creates the space for your manifestation to land.
Your fifth chakra is connected to communication. This is where your desire gets a voice. Saying what you want out loud can be surprisingly vulnerable.
It is one thing to quietly hold a dream in your journal where nobody else can see it. It is another thing to tell yourself the truth and communicate your desire without shrinking, apologizing, or immediately explaining why it probably won’t happen.
If you can’t even admit your desire to yourself, there may be energy in the way of receiving it.
The fourth chakra is where many dreams go to die.
Dramatic? Maybe.
Accurate? Also maybe.
This chakra is connected to your self-image and your ability to see yourself as someone who can actually have what you want. You can visualize the dream. Maybe you have said the affirmations, made the plan, and imagined exactly how it will happen.
But if, underneath all of that, a tiny voice says, “People like me don’t get things like that,” receiving it becomes much harder. Learning how to manifest what you want often means looking at the places where you have decided you aren’t worthy of having it.
Here is where things get very human.
Your third chakra is connected to willpower, action, and your ability to move energy into the physical world.
Yes, the Universe is magical. Also, you have a body. You can’t “OM” your way into paying rent or magically acquire a new skill without practicing. The Universe can open the door, but your body still has to walk through it.
Your third chakra asks what you actually need to do to bring your wish into reality. What steps need to happen? This is the energy that sends the email, starts the conversation, practices the skill, makes the change, and takes the next step forward.
Manifestation and action are not opposites. You can set the intention, visualize the dream, and align your energy, but at some point, your body gets to get up and participate.

Your second chakra works with emotions, creativity, and your ability to feel.
This is where you begin to feel your wish in your body. What would your day actually feel like if this manifestation were already part of your life? Maybe it feels like moving through the world with more ease, finally feeling secure, experiencing deeper joy, or simply knowing you belong here.
Sometimes receiving something wonderful feels surprisingly uncomfortable. Why? Because new emotions are still new. If your system is used to stress, ease can feel strange. If you’re used to doing everything alone, support can feel awkward at first.
Receiving your manifestation may require clearing old emotions and allowing yourself to experience feelings you have never fully let yourself have before. Hang in there. Those new feelings might become great friends.
Your first chakra is connected to your body, survival, health, and wellness. This is where your manifestation becomes real. It also checks if your wish actually supports your physical life.
Maybe you are trying to manifest a boat with a built-in bar and a fireworks launcher. Sounds fun, right?
But your first chakra focuses on your actual physical reality. Do you feel safe on the water? Can your finances support this choice? Does it create more stability in your life or add unnecessary stress to your body?
If you hate swimming, don’t have money for boat maintenance, and your partner might lose their mind if you bring home one more questionable purchase, your first chakra may simply say: “Nope. We are not doing that.”
Your first chakra is not trying to ruin your fun. It is making sure the life you create is one your body can actually feel safe receiving.
Your body is part of your manifestation process too.

The biggest misconception about manifestation is that asking is the whole process. Setting an intention matters, but receiving asks you to let that wish move through your energy system and into your life.
It starts as something you know is possible. Then you begin to see it, communicate it, and recognize yourself as someone who can actually have it. From there, your energy moves into action, then into emotion, and finally into your physical reality, where your wish becomes something you can live.
Learning how to manifest what you want is not about thinking positive thoughts until something magically appears. It is about becoming aligned enough to actually receive it.

Sometimes the Universe did not say no to your manifestation. You may simply need more time to receive it. It may be showing you where your energy is resisting receiving. Self-worth, fear, old beliefs, or a desire that does not match your truth can all affect your ability to receive.
Manifestation blocks can come from old beliefs, fear, scarcity, or places where you are not fully open to receiving. At the BPI, we teach that your chakras can show where energy is stuck and where your manifestation may need more support to move into your life.
Yes. Manifestation includes energy and action. Your third chakra helps you use your body, choices, and willpower to bring your dreams into reality. You can set an intention, but you also get to participate in creating it.
Receiving a manifestation means allowing your desire to move from an idea into your lived experience. Learning how to manifest what you want involves knowing it is possible, seeing it clearly, communicating your desire, taking action, feeling the change, and allowing your body and life to support it.
Manifestation does not always follow the timeline your mind expects. Sometimes the process involves clearing energy blocks, taking action, or becoming ready to receive what you asked for. At the BPI, we teach that manifestation is not just about when something arrives. It is also about whether your energy, body, and life are ready to hold it.
